What we're eating:
We tried three new restaurants this month which I am pretty proud about since we are pretty loyal to our favorites! We loved them all!- La Grand Orange (pizzaria and bakery)
- Jalepeno Bucks (Arizona BBQ and Mexican food)
- All Pierogi Kitchen and European Market
All Pierogi was so authentic and they even had live accordion music playing! It was such a cute little restaurant.
We also made one of my mother-in-law's amazing desserts.
What I'm reminiscing about:
This picture popped up on fb last week. I graduated from college 7 years ago!!! How did I get so old?!
What I'm loving:
Two months worth of meme screenshots :)
What we've been up to:
- Biking! Jack REFUSED to ride his bike (even with training wheels) so after almost a year of nagging, we moved on to plan B :) We bought a bike attachment and Jack (and David) LOVE IT!
And now we just have to convince Kate to like bike riding!!!
- We got a babysitter for Kate and went to Sunsplash water park to celebrate the beginning of summer!
- We walked around the Riparian Preserve. We saw fish, ducks, turtles, bunnies, and rats! Kate loved the ducks and squealed and waved every time she got near them!
- Jack and David started a little gymnastics class for the summer
- Bird watching! haha Jack and David found a pair of binoculars and have been looking for birds outside every morning!
Spencer made this pictures and it is SO DAVID!!! hahaha He's always asking for snacks!
- eating lots of popsicles!
Kate's squats cracks us up!
Car issues. Both of our cars started acting up on the same day!!! Boo!
What I'm dreading:
Losing Jack's first tooth! Jack has his first loose tooth and it is DRAMA already! I can't imagine what it's going to be like when it actually comes out!
What I'm excited about:
In high school, I volunteered at a special needs bowling league and I ran into two of my bowling buddies the other day and they remembered me! :) It made my day!
