- Celebrating David's birthday last week and weekend! On his actual birthday, he wanted to go on a "birthday bike ride" to drop Jack off at school, he chose to go swimming for his birthday activity, McDonald's for his birthday dinner and brownies instead of cake :) We had a little birthday party for him on Saturday and he was on cloud nine :)
This picture perfectly illustrates our dysfunctional family eating situation :) Happy Meals for the boys, two double double protein style burgers at In-n-Out for Spencer #ihatetheketodiet and Cafe Rio for me :)
After changing his mind a hundred times, David finally settled for a Batman party :)
When ever people sang happy birthday to him this year, he would always get so embarrassed and tell me that the singing made him dizzy! haha He stayed cross-eyed the entire time his friends were singing to him so maybe that was what was contributing to his dizziness! haha
Our next door neighbor ran home and decided to bring his snake over - I actually looked into having a reptile person come for a birthday party and it was definitely more expensive than this spontaneous snake visit! The kids loved it! haha
- This instastory from one of my friends! I loved reading this book but I felt the same way about Chip Gaines!!! He stresses me out! lol
- Exploring Phon D. Shutton. We got our family pictures taken here but the boys didn't get to play much in their nice clothes so we decided to go back to play for a while. It's so pretty :)
- Target lunch dates. (Living less than a mile from Target is wonderful and dangerous!)
- These pictures of David buried in our Costco items. (I don't actually love Costco though - it's more expensive than Sam's Club, it's always crowded no matter what day or what time I go and it gives me the shakes when I take my kids #walmartpickupiloveyou)
- Jack and his quirky love for rocks, gems, and minerals. When he was at Lifetime the other day, he insisted that we drive to the back of the Kids Academy so that he could grab a "mineral" that he could see from the playground but couldn't quite reach. When we pulled over and he ran to get it, every. single. kid. ran over to watch him get the "mineral" and then he was like, "actually it's just a rock" and threw it back down on the ground and came back to the van!!!! I love his confidence and enthusiasm in the things he loves! He's making rocks and minerals cool ;)
- Weekly zoo trips with Jenny and her kids!
- Kid-less quite time ;)
- These hahaha
