What we're eating:
In the last couple of months, these things have become almost daily staples. They taste so good and they make me feel good too!- Trader Joe's Everything But the Bagel seasoning with avocado toast
- Costco's Acai and Costco's grain free granola that I use to make homemade acai bowls
- Chobani flips
- Grapefruit or fresh squeezed orange juice from our neighbor's tree
I found this picture of me from almost 10 years ago! It was the first time I had ever highlighted my hair and I wasn't going for blonde but it turned out that way and I hated it! I died my hair brown two weeks later!
My hair is now longer than it's ever been before! I am getting tempted to cut it! (Just not like the picture above!)
We saw the Easter Bunny this last weekend (that I thought was actually cute!) My aunt pointed out that all Easter Bunnys are creepy but after looking back at all of our Easter Bunnys, I am at least confident in saying that the Easter Bunny we saw this weekend was the LEAST creepy of all.

2018 - see? Not so creepy once you've seen the other ones! ;)
What I'm loving:
- Our new Easter plates from Pottery Barn Kids! I have been obsessed with Pottery Barn's seasonal plates for about 4 years now but have had a hard time justifying the purchase. I finally splurged in December and bought their Christmas plates with no regrets, and when I saw the design for this year's Easter plates I knew I would have no regrets purchasing again :) I love them!!!
- I don't have a lot of Easter decor but I love what I do have :)
- I love these cute kids in their Easter church clothes! My mom (and dad ;) bought Kate's dress and there are little bunnies on the design :)
- This! haha
- My recent discovery of Ali Express! I love buying cheap things from China!
What we've been up to:
- Like mentioned above, we saw the Easter Bunny this weekend! We went to Soda Rush and there were no lines and he just hung out with us while we ate our treats. Jack and David thought it was the coolest thing ever! haha When David saw the Easter Bunny he gasped, "the Easter Bunny is a BUNNY?!!!!" hahaha I have no idea what he was thinking.
- We went to Creme Chocolats' grand opening for their $1 dipped cones the same day so we definitely got our sweet fix in, even Kate!
- David's preschool had a lemonade stand after school last week, which was darling! They didn't work very hard, but they sure looked cute!
- The boys are loving swim lessons every week and Kate enjoys watching them while she swims with me :)
- Jack and David started T-ball last week and loved it! David was so happy that he could participate instead of watch from the sidelines like he had to during basketball.
- David's been begging to invite friends over to play while Jack is at school so we had a few play dates this week.
- The only thing Jack and David requested to do for spring break was to go to Urban Jungle! I hate that place, so I consider it an act of true love to take them there, especially when I didn't go with friends to help keep me entertained ;) Kate loved it too!
Cleaning out the kid's drawers. Out with the winter clothes, in with the summer clothes! I don't take it for granted one bit that we are already wearing summer clothes! #iloveyouarizona
What I'm dreading:
As I type this, I am dreading going to Costco with my kids! Walmart pickup is the best thing that ever happened to me so on the rare occasion that I actually have to take all three kids shopping it's a real trial ;) #firstworldproblems There are so few times that I've actually taken Kate to the store that she doesn't even know how to sit in a grocery cart! Last week, she sat like this the entire time, no matter how many times I adjusted her legs! haha
What I'm excited about:
Easter!
What I'm watching:
We are in a show rut! Any recommendations? We are seriously considering watching the best show ever again (LOST) for a third time :)As I type this, I am dreading going to Costco with my kids! What I'm excited about:
Easter!
What I'm watching:
We also watched the Heart of Man on Netflix and LOVED it! Such a beautiful movie about God's grace and mercy and healing power.
What I'm reading:
I listened to these books on overdrive. None were amazing in my opinion but they kept me entertained while I did the dishes every day! :)
What I've been listening to:
The Greatest Showman has been on repeat in our car since the beginning of January!!! Jack and David insist on listening to it every single time we get in the car so we have seriously been listening to it every day for 1/4 of a year now. Most of the time, I'm totally sick of it, but when I look back and see Jack and David belting out every song and Kate clapping her hands to it I just love it all over again :)
What I'm wearing:
I actually remembered to take an "outfit" picture this month! haha It's already time to wear dresses in Arizona so I'm loving that and my new tennis shoes I got at Target!
What I'm doing this weekend:
All of the Easter things!
What I'm looking forward to next month:
Enjoying the last month of good weather!
Our favorite show on Netflix is White Collar. We watched it again late last year and I loved it just as much as I did the first time.
ReplyDeleteOooh! Thanks for the suggestion! We will have to try it out!
