On Saturday, we watched general conference, we went swimming at Mesquite Groves pool, and ended the night at Joe's Farm grill.
It was the first swim of the season! Kate loves swimming and is just as fearless as her brother's were at her age :) She's crazy!
Kate was EXHAUSTED after swimming so hard!
She was naughty and tired at Joe's Farm Grill so it's a good thing we love her ;)
The Easter Bunny came and we enjoyed our Easter Sunday watching conference and eating way too much sugar!
I made orange rolls and cinnamon rolls in honor of Debbie (nothing else could motivate me to make anything with yeast - that stuff is time consuming ;) I used Debbie's orange roll recipe and used this recipe for the cinnamon roll filling and icing.
We all got Easter naps in (besides Jack!) I could get used to waking up to this cute face. (Actually no I couldn't. I've never been so grateful that he sleeps through the night in his own bed!)
Our kids were CRAZY and hopped up on sugar all day!
Bad quality picture, but by the end of the weekend, Kate had warmed up to Dave :)
We had the best conference entertainment :)
Her hair, her legs, her elbow dimples... I can't get enough!!!
We ended the evening walking around the Riparian Preserve, answering my sister's date to Gilbert High School's prom, and hunting for scorpions.
With Debbie's death still so fresh on our minds, this Easter was especially meaningful to us. Because He lives, we will see Debbie again. We were so glad that Dave could be with us for Easter and hope he comes again soon!

Things I'm loving:
- Grocery shopping with these cute kids!
- This new Blue Bell ice cream flavor!!!! Spencer and I like it better than regular cookie dough ice cream and better than any peanut butter flavored ice cream. It's definitely one of my top favorite Blue Bell ice cream flavors!
- Jack's adorable spring picture ;)
- David's adorable preschool and preschool teacher. She seriously does the cutest things! They had an Easter egg hunt and party last Thursday. She let Jack get in her chicken coop and get an egg and he was THRILLED! (It was jersey day at Jack's school that day, which is why he is wearing his basketball jersey ;)
- Easter packages from my parents and grandparents. My grandparents sent us chocolate covered cinnamon bears!
