Catch up

I am way behind on my blog! It's funny to me that when Jack was a baby, I blogged because I was bored and had nothing to do but now I have to really make time to blog or else I would never do it.
Things we've been up to (in bullet points because I have a hard time blogging without bullet points ;)

• The boys went camping two weekends ago for our ward's fathers and sons camp out. Kate stayed home with me and we went shopping (where she threw her first tantrum ever) and I gave her a bath (where she pooped and ATE IT!) Hopefully our girl's weekend will be more enjoyable next year!

• We discovered a new restaurant that we love!!! Jalepeno Bucks is it's own style of BBQ (they say Arizona style) and Mexican food. It's perfect for me and Spencer because he is all about the meat and I am all about the Mexican food :) The mango salsa is to DIE FOR!!!

 

•  It is getting hot in Arizona. I am amazed at how much usage we are getting in our tiny little backyard :)

 

• Our next door neighbors are moving soon and I'm SO SAD!!! I don't know what we will do without spontaneous play dates every day!

• David "graduated" from three-year-old preschool!!! There is no need for Pinterest when you send your kid to Eck Hollow Preschool! :) He had such a great year of preschool!

Jack's almost done with Kindergarten! And because I'm cheap and won't buy these pictures, this is as good as it's going to get ;)
 

• Spencer and I went to the Taylor Swift concert!!! I loved it, and Spencer did too ;)

 
 
 

• I'm loving my ONE year old!!! Kate is getting so fun and we love seeing her little personality come out. I don't know if I will ever stop taking pictures of my babies sleeping because it's just so dang cute :)

 Kate's 1 year old stats (actually 13 month stats because that's when I got around to getting her to the dr). She was in the 50th percentile for weight and 97th for height)
 

• Jack's friend's mom sent him home with a bunch of rocks she found from her older son's rock collection. Jack spent 10 minutes showing me each rock and telling me about them. haha! Side story: Jack was watching a documentary on the Ipad yesterday and David came up to him (frustrated because he hates Jack's documentaries) and said, "Jack! Why are you learning about dinosaurs? You already know everything about them!" Jack responded, "Actually, David, I am learning about the weather right now!" (It was a tornado show!) haha

 

•  We had our last t-ball game last week. David yelled at us every 5 minutes asking when it was going to be over and Jack finished off the season with a bucket over his head! hahaha Better luck next year. (Although Spencer insists that there won't be a next year with T-ball! lol)

• Our backup plan since Jack refuses to get on his bike. He loved this one so much and said, "This is so much better, mom! I'm NEVER riding my bike again." Wonderful. lol

• David started giving Kate rides on his tractor this week. She is obsessed with it now and I think it's so dang cute :)
