On Tuesday, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom! We were there right at rope drop and were able to hit all of the main attractions at Fantasyland before heading back to the hotel for naps (thanks to WDW Prep School's amazing touring plans! I want her job. How do I get her job?!)
We loved the Enchanted Tales With Belle and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attractions that were new to us since they aren't at Disneyland. Enchanted Tales with Belle is an interactive story time where you start at Maurice’s cottage and are magically transported to the Beast’s library. They asked Jack to be Maurice but he was too nervous, and then David surprised us all and walked right on up there to be Maurice :)
Side note: Spencer's back sweat magically transformed into Mickey! (Insert laughing to tears emoji)
I don't think David realized when he volunteered how big of a commitment his Maurice job was. When we moved to the next room and he still had to be Maurice, he tried to be brave but quietly whined, "I can't do dis! I can't do dis!" And when Belle approached him, he lost it! hahaha
Spencer came to help, and by the look on his face in this picture, I don't think he minded one bit! hahaha
Here David is on the Barnstormer. He called it the "airplane roller coaster" and watched it on youtube sooooo many times before we got to Disneyworld. After all that prep... he hated it. He said it was too scary!
David was attached to Spencer's hip the entire trip. Spencer was David's slave and David refused to have anyone else hold him, help him, or go on rides with him - the little pill! I managed to peel David from Spencer to ride Dumbo with him and the entire ride David just asked, "Where's Daddy?!"
Jack went twice on his first roller coaster, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! It was such a cute ride! (It seems from this picture that Elizabeth thought the ride was cute too ;)
We used our last fast passes for Thunder Mountain and then headed back to the hotel to take naps.
Man I love these boys!
They thought the magic shots with characters were so cool! Once we took pictures with the photographers, they would upload to my phone within five minutes! Now that's pretty magical!
Tinker Bell left us all Mickey shirts this day :)
We took naps and ate dinner at the hotel then headed back to the Magic Kingdom for more fun in the evening!
I love this picture of James and Maddie. WE LOVE MADDIE!!! At one point, Jack asked, "Why is Maddie always laughing?!" That's Maddie for you - easy going and always laughing and always happy, even when her crazy sister-in-law is dragging her all over Disney World with strict touring plans ;) It's crazy to think that exactly a year ago, we were all in New Orleans "on family vacation" aka meeting her to make sure that James wasn't crazy moving across the country to do summer sales with her :) Maybe it was a little crazy, but she was worth it! She's one in a million!
We snagged fast passes to the Haunted Mansion and my mom and dad were so nice and stayed behind on Main Street to save us spots for the parade and night show. David curled into the fetal position during the ride and was so still that we thought that he fell asleep - he didn't, he was just terrified! When we got off the ride, he enthusiastically exclaimed, "THAT WAS FUN!" He's all talk! haha At the end of the ride, the ghost in our chair was holding up a sign that said, "Iowa, we're coming for you!" I'm not sure if that was a magical touch by Disney, or a creepy touch! The It's a Small World attraction and Space Mountain attraction also displayed our names on screens as we exited the ride! Disney's technology is crazy! We loved having the magic bands though! We scanned them to get into our hotel rooms, to get into the parks, to use our fast passes, and to charge our credit cards (with a pin number). It was so convenient!
Jack thinks these pictures with ghosts are soooo cool! haha
Main Street Electrical Parade, Celebrate the Magic Show, and Wishes fireworks - so magical!
David has Spencer whipped! This is how David preferred to view fireworks. "HOLD MY EARS!!!!!"

The next day we hit Typhoon Lagoon. It was only open from 10 am - 5 pm so it was nice to have a later start and earlier finish to our day after three long days at the parks. Jack and David loooooved the water park, which didn't surprise me because they love swimming! Jack practiced with a snorkel all winter long in our gym's indoor pool so that he could swim with the sharks and sting rays at Disney World. I wasn't sure if he would actually do it but he did! He was pretty nervous, not because of the sharks, but because the snorkel gear was different from what he practiced with and the salt water stung his face. Sadly, he didn't even see the sharks he was swimming with because he was kicking so hard in the water (you aren't supposed to kick because it scares them away) but he did see big fish and a sting ray! I was so proud of him! David was sooooo sad that he couldn't do it!
The wave pool at Typhoon is the biggest in the world. The waves were huge and so fun to body surf. Jack had no fear doing all of the tube rides by himself and the kiddie area even had a tube slide that David could ride by himself. They also had a family raft ride that we could all do together. We stayed from open until close with no meltdowns! When it closed, David was in the wave pool and as everyone was getting out he said, "I'm gonna stay here for a widdle while." haha
My mom gave us the matching Mickey swimsuit coverups! I love them!
Disney sure knows how to make amazing water parks! The water parks were
actually what I remember the most from the trip we took to Disney World
when I was in elementary school. It was such a great day and so fun that I think the only thing I would have changed about our vacation would
have been to add one more day so that we could have gone to the other
water park too!
